Christine is the managing partner and is a specialist in the
business, accounting, and tax needs of closely held businesses,
professionals and individuals. Christine received her BS degree in
Business Administration from California State University Fresno in
1982 and her CPA certificate from the State of California in 1986.
She has continued education classes in business planning and taxes
as well as other technology related subjects. She has substantial
knowledge about many accounting software packages and is a
Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor. Christine has over
twenty years experience working with clients in a wide variety of
industries and professions, in both public and private accounting.
She is a former Controller for a construction company and also
assistant controller for a Real Estate Investment Trust. She is
experienced in consulting services and tax preparation and tax
planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, not for
profit entities, estates and trusts. Christine is a member of the
National Society of Accountants, the California Society of
Accounting and Tax Professionals and the National Association of
Female Executives. Christine has been active in the Newport Beach
Chamber of Commerce serving on various committees.
Ellen D. Weinstein

Ellen is a partner in Brown & Company. She leads the Business
Management Department and is the Human Resource manager for Brown
and Company. Ellen received her Bachelor of Science degree from
California State University, Northridge in 1977 and her certificate
in Human Resources Management from University of California, Irvine
in 2001. Her responsibilities include business management,
bookkeeping, corporate and individual income tax returns,
compilation of financial statements and consulting for human
resources issues. Ellen has over 20 years experience in the
business world. In addition to owning her own bookkeeping practice
she has worked as a manager in the retail, restaurant,
manufacturing and academic industries. She brings practical
experience to the business and can relate to all issues business
owners face today. She continues to attend seminars in accounting
and income taxes to review the ever-changing tax laws and
accounting guidelines. Ellen is a member of the National
Association of Tax Preparers and the American Institute of
Professional Bookkeepers.
